The purpose of the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture UGA College of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship is to assist outstanding students who have elected to focus on the area of large animal/food animal practice.
To be eligible, applicant must:
1. Be a Georgia resident.
2. Be a current University of Georgia veterinary medicine student specializing in large animal/food animal practice.
3. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Supporting documents required:
1. Essay outlining your future plans as they relate to your career in large/food animal veterinary medicine and how you think you can impact the future of the agricultural industry. The essay should be at least one page, but no more than two pages, double spaced, Times New Roman or Arial font.
2. Copy of transcript or verification of GPA.
3. One letter of reference from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine advisor.
4. One additional letter of reference.
5. Professional Photo of the applicant.
