The purpose of the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture Technical College Scholarship for Agriculture is to assist outstanding students who plan to pursue a career focusing on agriculture and who exhibit leadership skills for active involvement in the agriculture sector.
To be eligible, applicant must:
1. Be a Georgia resident.
2. Be enrolled in a Georgia accredited technical college during the current academic year.
3. Major in an area of study related to agriculture.
4. Have a minimum 2.8 GPA.
Supporting documents required:
1. Essay outlining your future plans as they relate to agriculture and how you think you can impact the future of the agriculture industry. The essay should be at least one page, but no more than two pages, double spaced, Times New Roman or Arial font.
2. Copy of transcript.
3. One letter of reference.
4. Professional Photo of applicant.
