MINI GRANT APPLICATION

Thanks to a grant from the R Howard Dobbs Jr. Foundation, 20 fellows from the Georgia Agriculture Educators Fellowship will receive $1,000 mini grants. Please submit your information below and you will be emailed by August 4th if you are awarded the grant. Questions? email [email protected]
Purpose:
To enhance the agricultural learning experience of students by providing teachers and schools the means to purchase, update and/or implement needed resources
Eligible Requests:
Including, but not limited to, gardening supplies, animals, chicken coops, AG books, software, study guides, DVDs, CDs, electronics, Smart-boards, audio/visual equipment, security equipment, teacher training, etc. Each request must have a agriculture education use.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must have participated in the March, April or June Cohorts of the Georgia Agriculture Educators Fellowship.
Additional points awarded to applicants who have taken our online course, AG ED 101.
Selection Criteria:
Applications are evaluated on the assessment of projects impact and use of resources. Awards will be capped at $1,000 max.
Application Process/Instructions:
- Application period will begin on the day of your fellowship workshop.
- Deadline for applications is listed above.
- Application must be typed and submitted using this form.
- No more than 1 application is to be submitted from the same school.
- Applicant is notified of approval or denial two weeks after the listed deadline.
- Additional information, documenting the use of funds, must be submitted to the Foundation after the money is received.
